Veo Cam 2 firmware update - 2.2.1

We've deployed an important firmware update – version 2.2.1 – now available for your Veo Cam 2.

Issue Addressed:

• Resolving Charging Issue: Following the release of our previous update (version 2.2.0), we became aware of an issue affecting the charging of some cameras, particularly after full battery depletion. This has now been fixed! We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused.

What this means for you:

• Update your camera: Most cameras will not experience the issue and automatically update to 2.2.1. If your camera is completely out of battery, and your experiencing the charging issue, you'll need to follow these steps:

  1. Insert the charger

  2. Turn on the camera

  3. Connect it to wifi via the app or ethernet with an adaptor

  4. Let it sit, connected to the charger, for 10-30 minutes, while it's updating

The camera will automatically reboot and start charging once the update is complete. We are truly sorry for any disruption this may have caused to your experience and apologies again for the inconvenience. If you continue to have issues please reach out to our support team.
